Naruto PSP Games

Japan has produced a lot of popular animes, and one of them is Naruto. Naruto has also appeared on various consoles.  But it was not until March 7, 2006 that the first Naruto game which was known as Naruto: Gekito Ninja Taisen and Naruto Saikyo Ninja Daikesshu was released in North America and other non-Japanese countries under the title Naruto:  ninja Council.  The game is very similar to its Japanese counterpart except it was in English dubbing.

Naruto PSP games enjoy both good and bad reviews from gamers. Naruto PSP games are generally for the hard-core fans of the animation.

The most usual concept of Naruto PSP games are fighting games.  But there are some that incorporates Mario Bros-like game concept.  Right now, the popular Naruto PSP games are the following:

*Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes -  the original Naruto PSP games for the gaming system. The game is different than the version in Japan without 3 characters, 2 stages, and the main storyline.  This version also features game sharing.

*Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 - Released in Japan as Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel 3.  This is the first among the Naruto PSP games to contain characters from the sixth season of Naruto Shippuden and many others.   This is the first Naruto PSP game to feature 50 playable characters.  This is the first game to contain Pain, Konan, Toad Sage Jiraiya, Young Kakashi. Obito Uchiha, Tobi and Kabuto-maru as playable characters as well as Minato Namikaze's voice for the first time.

*Naruto: Akatsuki Rising -  One of the most popular Naruto PSP games.  Reviews state that the game's dubbing and graphics are excellent.  But, this game is something only the hard-core fans of the cartoons will enjoy.
